> Stereo 3DTV Workshops...
Led by Neil Richards of the Digital Film Company, these workshops are aimed at film-makers with experience and you will need to provide evidence of this when making an application for a place. Funded by the Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund. Cost £70* (£90 is unable to meet experience requirements)
Introductory workshop Tuesday 9th October | 10am > 5pm
Covers basic stereo 3D principles, technology, standards, displays and cinema. Emphasis in the last half of the day is on hands-on filming.Click here to book.
Filming Workshop Wednesday 10th October | 10am > 5pm
A whole day filming in stereo 3D using various cameras – intended as a follow-on from the above workshop. Participants will be challenged to script and shoot a 90 sec 3D film in one day. Click here to book.
Introductory Post –Production workshop Thursday 11th October | 10am > 5pm
Introduces the basics of stereo 3D editing, from importing the left/right image files to correcting disparity, improving the stereoscopy and finally editing into a film. Click here to book.
